GAW-CH and GCOS-CH supported activities

The Federal Council decided in 1994 for GAW and in 2006 for GCOS, respectively, that MeteoSwiss can provide subsidies to third parties for different activities. Based on Article 4 (GCOS Switzerland) and Article 5 (GAW Switzerland) of the Ordinance on Meteorology and Climatology (SR 429.11). MeteoSwiss can support 1) Monitoring activities, 2) Central Facilities and 3) Projects related to both programmes.
