On July 25, 2026, MeteoSwiss celebrates 100 years of continuous ozone measurements in Switzerland. The venue for the event will be PMOD/WRC in Davos where the triad of Dobson spectrophotometers is installed. The celebration day will start with a half-day scientific symposium featuring contributions from world-renowned ozone scientists, highlighting the long tradition and longevity of ground-based ozone measurements in Switzerland . The evening will be dedicated to a public event featuring a duo of keynote speakers Thomas Peter and Johannes Staehelin (in German).
